Forget party's vote on the issues . Don't be swayed by religion . Vote on the freedoms to be preserved .

Instead of worrying about which political party seems to be yours, you should look at political issues from your own perspective and vote according to your conscience. If you seem to like some Democratic views and some Republican views, that's not a real issue.

Personally, I think both parties are full of BS these days and are nearly entirely self-serving, so it's time we all abandoned both in favor of the third parties and independent candidates for all offices.

Vote independent, it would be a refreshing change. Dem and rep. have been at it for years look where we have gotten. I think more people should vote independent the rest are just walking down the same old warn down trail. I mean really. a rep get into office and makes changes that 4 to 8 years later a Dem gets in and changes it right back. It makes me dizzy. I got my own mind.

You sound like a Republican...I agree with many of the things you said here...Democrats usually encourage social programs, and federal government involvement at the state level, while Republicans are for welfare reform, and more state government control. They are also less likely to force you to make personal choices.....
you are probably independent, or liberal in your beliefs of "just leave me alone"...although I am for that as well.
So....a little of each, I guess you are moderate, like the average American.

Well the anti-welfare, parents raising kids and sort of the taxes put you into the Republican category. The part about the people owning all the utilities would put you in the communist category.
