Your question should be what did Reagan/Bush 1 do for energy Development? One of Ronald Reagan's first acts when he was sworn in was to de-fund and end tax incentives for all the alternative energy programs started under Carter. Oil companies got their money's worth and the rape continues to this day. Now the oil industry is putting out smarmy propaganda ads (Swift-boat style) to discredit Al Gore's movie because they don't want the average American to see the truth.

The last week in office they signed all kinds of excutive orders cutting greenhouse emissions, raising drinking water standards, and raised clean air standards. Bush came in his first week and turned it all back to previous levels. Im not a Bush basher however, this has been happening for years. It just goes to show all this democrat/republican crap is a distraction. All those people really work together to get wealthier and keep others down.

But bring on the LIB/CON posts SHEEPLE!!!

Clinton/Gore did little or no in the direction of potential conservation even as that they had the prospect. That alongside with NAFTA, WTO, etc, i got here upon their administration to be truly lacking. regrettably, they nonetheless proceed to be mild-years earlier than BushCo, which makes cutting-side US politics truly depressing...
