why wont my internet work?

i have comcast on one computer so i tried to plug it into a differerent one but it wont work in the second one

Buy a router or install comcast software onto both computers.

Try running the internet connection wizard for the second computer. That's the easiest method of resolving the problem.

I too have comcast and from what I know you don't have to have anything installed on any computer. Just connect it and run the wizard. If you have a router, you could powercycle your modem and reset your router.
