I hope to find a group of people, or just one beautiful lady that thinks more along the lines of evolution and the urgency to do something for this failing planet.
I am completely surrounded by hard-core racist religious people.
I'm 29 and I'm almost through with nursing school. I hope to finally have a job that pays well. Recently I heard someone say that life is about coming to love someone. That sounds pretty good to me, that's what i want. I feel like it will be easier if i can be in a place where i don't have to spend so much time explaining basic biological facts that leave you with no doubt about the pure shame of the state of this planet.

They say that if you don't know where you are going, than all the paths you take are never wrong.
I find that for me, my passion in life is other people. I love meeting people, when I say people, I mean cultures and ways of life. I love to travel and meet people that live in another world than myself. But despite the way we were brought up and lived, we all want the same things in life. We all want happiness and wishing we do whats right. (granted we all have a different definition of happiness and what is right).
So for me, seeing the world is my true passion. To visit every continenant on Earth. It really is an eye opener.

You know, I am a lot older than you. I have had people come up to me years later and say, "you know that thing you said that time when we were all talkin. It was f'ing cool and I did it and it helped. And I never said thx. So thx. U r ok." I took the path less traveled. And that has Made allll the difference. Find your path, hon. It's big and wide and right in front of you. See it? It's the one everybody's telling you not to go there, but your heart says YEH.

Like you, I have witnessed life, love, death and war. I want to achieve in my own lifetime is a better understanding of my own humanity and how will have an impact on society overall. Being a cab driver I have the ability to change someone's life with a few words. But I know I do want to have an impact on the world.

The desire to raise my unborn child to be happy and considerate has taken over any goal I might have had before I became pregnant. I am consumed with thoughts of how I will raise my child to be a good person and to be happy. I don't care if he is the smartest, the fastest, the best at anything. He doesn't need to be famous or rich or a savior of the world. I just want him to always be able to look back on his actions without shame, and to be content in life.

I have a wonderful relationship with my husband. We think we have done a great job raising our daughter as a person. We helped start a science fiction convention that raises money for childrens literature. So I think we have accomplished a lot and hope to continue for many more years.
