they both have their ups and downs. It prevents you from expressing your individuality but protects those les wealthy folks from being made fun of because they can't dress the way that other people like.

u dont get to have ur own personal style in school, it's always the same thing.
let's say a students does something bad in school and a teacher saw him or her running away but only saw their back and what they where wearing. she could have said something and describe what the student was wearing but she cant cause they all look alike.

Diss, it ruins individuality, which is a good thing. How you dress can say a lot about you and allows you to express yourself, people who tell you what to wear, or what not to wear is a a bad idea.
Also on boiling hot days (like today) you would`t want to wear a choking suit and tie. I`m in my shorts at the moment, and am much more comfortable. Also people who are more comfortable would work better.

i diss it.....people want to be more original and be a individual but they cant do that with uniforms.......with uniforms everyone looks the same and most of the uniforms are very dull looking.... i would at least put more variety (good variety) 2 uniforms so that people would actually want to wear them..

I dig the wearing of uniforms at work.
It makes it easy to tell the employees from the patients visitors and keeps my good clothes from getting ruined. It also helps the patients distinguish between each department..

Dis it. I believe that people should be individuals, and be able to express that. I think we should do away with two people coming to work or school with the same type of wear, for instance gang members and their little "doo rag" and caps...get a life and get some style. Some professions need uniforms, but we should be able to "spice them up"

Uniforms are stupid. Why should we have to give up our own personal styles just to fit in? Why should everyone have to fit anyway? What's wrong with being different? Clothing is a way to express yourself. So what if they don't have enough money for the "latest styles"? Who keeps up with whats "hip" right now anyway?

Dig it.
You don't have to worry about what other people think of your clothes. And you don't have to waste time in the morning picking out an outfit to wear.
