Absolutely! It shows that you are capable of forming a rational opinion, but don't feel compelled to shove it down everyone's throats. Would that more folks were capable of the same......

I think so because that almost perfectly describes my opinion on the abortion issue. I believe the choice to have abortion is up to the woman and her doctor, not a religion, not what the government or what other people think. However, I would not want to terminate my own pregnancy and hope I would never be in a situation where I would have to make that choice.

Problem with this is, what is the other choice? If you are pro-choice, you believe that a woman has a choice to keep or abort the baby. There really isn't any middle ground here. You could be anti-abortion and pro-adoption.

Yes you can. I feel the same way. I would never have an abortion no matter how I got pregnant, but I do believe that any woman should be able to decide because it is their choice and their body. Although I don't think it's right, everyone woman has the right to choose what they want.

I think technically you would be considered Pro Choice, since even though you wouldn't terminate a pregnancy you do believe that women should have the option. There's nothing wrong with believing in both... that's the beauty of this country.

Of course you can, I agree with you 100%. I find abortion to be a deplorable act. I think it's a sign of a weak heart, low self esteem, and little responsibility for ones self. But... I think it's up to every one to determine whether it is a practice that suits them, and for every one to determine there own morals and values on this issue. I haven't made up my mind on whether it's murder or not, but I do believe in God, and I feel He can make a better determination on whether that individual is a good person or a bad person better then I can. So... I am pro choice, and anti abortion. I think there may be more people like you and I then you might guess.

It like vegetarians that don't eat meat but do drink milk and eat cheese. You can be prochoice with a limit to what that encludes with abortion not being one of the choices. Most prochoice people , however, include abortion as one of the choices. You may need to explain your position to others to see if you agree and are fighting for the same cause.

Yes it is because you have to realize that if you believe in GOD, you're not the judge of a woman's choices, HE is.
Also, GOD may be using this experience to bring the person to HIM. You don't want to interfere with that.
That's why anti-abortion protests (violent ones) and murders of abortion drs are wrong.
What did Jesus do in times of trouble? He prayed.
He also forgave people.

I am living proof. Abortion is an abomination for me and I could never EVER consider such a horrible thing. But I support the rights of women everywhere to have legal SAFE abortions.

No more backroom and alleyway deaths from botched illegal abortions.....that is until they outlaw abortion again.

Exactly! Most people who are pro-choice ARE anti-abortion, particularly as a birth control measure. I don't know any pro-abortion people.

Yes you can. You don't believe in abortion, but you don't believe in making that choice for someone else. In fact, Bill Clinton once said "I'm against abortion but I'm pro-choice".
