hello there i've been looking at the following website, www.allcoolmusic.com, and i just wanted a few opinions to VERIFY, whether its a legal download music site or not as it seems to be endorsed by CNN, MTV, CNET, Google, ABC, so does this mean that's it ok, to pay and downlaod from this site???

I could get any page endorsed by anything, still doesn't make it legal.

It's only been 'seen' on those websites.

I wouldn't trust it myself.

Then again visit their 'Legal Info' page which says the following;

"There are currently over 240 million users downloading and trading files legally on file-sharing networks. You can, for example, legally download music from over 850 bands, over 20,000 live concerts as well as have access to multiple software titles and games. File sharing is not illegal so long as you abide by all relevant copyright laws. Sharing copyrighted material without the permission to do so is illegal.

AllCoolMusic does not condone piracy or breaking copyright laws. The MP3 sharing tools available on through our members area are powerful search tools & we recommend that you use your discretion when downloading music and movie files."

BASICALLY, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

It looks legit but I've seen Russian websites that offer the same services of free music and video.

How funny when I try closing the website window, I get a pop-up stating that by paying $29.95 I get unlimited downloads for free.

Plus the company is not U.S. Owned.
