It isn't possible to remove freckles unless you're planning on removing your skin. In my opinion, freckles are kind of cute.

No you can not get rid of freckles. I have them pretty much all over too and the sun makes them worse. my mom would say having a body with out any freckles is like looking at the night sky and it having no stars. So they are beautiful!!

Your friend can get a chemical peel from the dermatologist. It will temporarily make her freckles disappear. It will also turn your friend a ghostly white, and be the end of her days in the sun (at least for the time being). The exposed skin will be way too sensitive (it's like baby skin). I always thought of my freckles as like having scars all over. People don't understand what it's like having a permanent skin condition that you can't do anything about, but there are worse things in life. Some people even find them sexy. Tell your friend to stop stressing over things that she can't do anything about.

Curly, I've had freckles all my life and I have tried EVERYTHING to get rid of them. I have heard that laser therapy can "help to fade them" but you can have absolutely no sun contact of any kind. That means gloves and long sleeves in the dead of summer, no thanks. The treatments are lengthy (up to 6 weeks) and only fade them. First bit of sun and hello freckles. In my area the laser treatment for the 6 weeks is just a tad over $5,000.00 for something that is not guaranteed to get rid of the things........no thanks. I have gotten used to them and my bf loves them so, I guess what the heck. Sorry. nana.

Yeah, like Friggen says, or put magic marker on every single freckle and after that wears off the freckles somehow disappear. She will look like a black polka dot for awhile though.

Talk to a dermatologist there are skin bleachers out there that would do it but that's kinda of drastic. Let her know that there's nothing wrong with having freckles.
