Good Luck at $5,000 or less. We have a Kubota and mow eight acres and the Kubota is about 20 years old, other than regular maintainance on it we have had not problems.

I my self would go to my local John Deere Dealer and ask for their recommendation that would be the best thing to do, I trust them more then anyone else they have the best service on new products, the Maintenance plan is super they have a two year warranty on new tractors. And I know you can get a new tractor for well under $5000 for 10 acres

I have been maintaining 10 acres with a John Deere 277. It does a fine job & is holding up well.

The only mistake I made was taking the 42 inch mower. Get a 48 or a 54". Get a trailer for it too.

You had a good question going...
untill you put "No used tractors"
and then a price tag of under $5k... good luck

You are now very limited. I will say you can NOT buy a High Quality Farm Tractor Brand New to use daily - anywhere near 5k
SOooo this limits you to alot of imported chineese junk.

that's a super variety of mowing if that's what you go with to do. basically slicing swaths or paths by using all of it, leaving surprisingly much all of it on my own, could desire to suffice and could artwork with that tractor. I used to have one approximately that length that i offered used at an area Hardware Hank for a plenty low cost and it worked properly. Watch the rocks and bee nests interior the floor. A sickle mower like the properly-standard "Jari" it particularly is a stroll in the back of enables for the heavy brush - could be chanced on inexpensive. i've got faith super previous Farmall M tractors outfitted for the time of WWII with a hydraulic bucket loader on front (for the snow and shifting airborne dirt and dust and logs) could be geared up up with super rotary mowers on lower back related to the capability take off. I had one I paid purely $1100 for yet that had to be delivered in on a definite truck. Ever get caught interior the snow with a tractor? It happens. no person is going to come lower back and pull you out.
