Arite, i didn't think that pently kick should've been. I thought that was a BAD call......that kick made the whole game unfair!! who's with me on this?

It's not about "fairness." In most sports the referees or umpires have the final say as to penalities. A few sports rely on instant replays or camera shots -- but not many -- simply because every play has the potential of being reviewed over and over and over again. I am sure that in every game of the World Cup thus far there is at least one person who thinks "that kick made the whole game unfair"!!

Yes I think the game was fair...The free kick was a free kick...all the fouls Portugal pulled off against France especially 2 one after the other against Ribery which no free kick or cards were pulled out by the ref;, thank goodness or it would of been more goals by France...The Portuguese are as bad as the Italians they liking rolling on the floor may be they will win an academy for best play act..ha...I am not for either team

I think it's called KARMA. It's funny to complain now about bad reffing calls when it's been the bad calls that got Portugal this far. I thought it was a fair call, but even if it wasn't, then oh well. It's about time the portuguese team don't get it their way for once. This ref was amazing and didn't fall for the diving dramatics of the portuguese!

im with you i believe that call was totally bogus and there was a time where portugal was to get a penalty kick but the ref didnt call it .. it was totally an unfair game france would have never won if it wasnt for that penality kick and as for the finals they better start working harder before that cup is out their hands!!

the france vs portugal was not fair at all. to begin the refree is from uruguay and they don't like the portuguese to begin with. second the penalty that was given to france was wrong. the portuguese player fell and then henry stepped on him. portugal didn't play at its best, that much i will admit. but the french got an undeserved penalty kick. in my opinion portugal got robbed of the chance of going to the final because of the refree.

France won. Go and watch the replay and you will see that Thierry Henry was tackled deliberately. Unlike Ronaldo who dived unrealistically so that he can be awarded a penalty kick. Portugal did not play the ball tonight. They were busy divings and play actings.

It was not a fair game. Portugal should have 1 penalty, but good game by portugal and france.

not me, i was a good call, everybody agrees with that, i think Portuguese were complaining and diving too much today almost felt like France was playing real football and Portugal was participating on Olympic

I am, but Portugal did screw up in the last 15 minutes with that missed header which could have easily been a goal.

I couldn't believe the Portugal players ... how they had no shame. Falling without reason, and all shown repeatedly on replay ... booooo ...
