Go to the Control Panel, and pick INTERNET OPTIONS.
Pick Connection and you will see NEVER DIAL.
Actually, you should ween yourself away from using the buggy ATT& T Browser. Use IE or FireFox from www.Mozilla.com.
Visit att.yahoo.com to log in and get your e-mail. Good looks don't count. FireFox works great.
Good luck.

I am no expert, but if there was one in the package that came with your dsl box, then more than likely it was out there for a reason. Maybe just in case the browser shuts down, you'll have an alternate way to access the internet. Maybe you should give it a try, or call your isp for more advice.

Its a bug in the software. SBC has been know to make terrible software. I suggest you unistall it. Everything that came with SBC. Thats what I did. I got IE 7.0 Beta and Mozilla Firefox. IE will not open your inbox if it is operated by AT&A Yahoo Beta Mail Service.

Run an antispyware program like superantispy (free version or pay), then reload the browser software. I have had to do this when I had certain spyware...

Forget AT&T's browser!
Use another one such as Microsoft's Internet Browser, or Firefox's browser, or any of the other one's... They all work!
