Check the yellow pages for your local hospital pediatrics clinic or department of health -- most towns or counties will give free vaccinations if you don't have insurance.

I used to work for a pediatric doc...she was amazing. Just call any doc's office and talk to a nurse. Either she maybe able to hook you up with a doc in the office that can do it for no charge, she can point you towards the county and their shot programs and days, or she could help you in applying for state aid while you get your insurance. When it comes to children and shots...there are alot of willing people to help you out. Remember the best thing you can do in preventing disease is get your kids vaccinated.

Have a good day

The federal and state governments team up to offer "Vaccines for Children." (http://www.cdc.gov/nip/vfc/Parent/parent_home.htm)

The program covers:
# Diphtheria
# Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib)
# Hepatitis A
# Hepatitis B
# Influenza
# Measles
# Meningococcal disease
# Mumps
# Pertussis (whooping cough)
# Pneumococcal disease
# Polio
# Rotavirus
# Rubella (German measles)
# Tetanus (lockjaw)
# Varicella (chickenpox)

The website tells you where to go.

Your child is covered under this program, for sure. It won't cost you anything, and it shouldn't be a big hassle.
