Find a good teacher, take lessons and PRACTICE!!
While you do that.....
Find some music with really good guitar to listen to. This will inspire you,a nd you can try to play like them:
Led Zeppelin
Chili Peppers
White Stripes
Queen
Guns n Roses

((all have awesome guitarists))

Buy a chord book, or look for music lessons in the phone book.
