Oh, I am having so much trouble with this one! I love the following love songs :
"I need love "- Sam Philips (off of Martinis and bikis - she' s T Bone Burnetts wife and you really need to hear her)
"This must be the place" - Talking Heads
"Blowers daughter" - Damian Rice
"Caramel" - Suzanne Vega
"Why "- Annie Lennox (broken love really, but beautiful)
"I can't make you love me" - Bonnie Raitt
And how could I forget "I want you" - Elvis Costello.
All time fave is probably "Stardust", written by Hoagy Carmichael and sung by anyone. Makes me swoon.

"If" by Bread...1970's. If you like love songs I suggest their Best of Bread CD..."Diary" is pretty good too. Dr. Hook has a few...but their more popish then love songs...Sylvia's mother, Sexy eyes.

Yellow-Coldplay, my first dance with my husband was to this, and it was perfect, I must say that "Stand by Me"-The Temptations and "I Need You Baby"-Lauren Hill come in close afterwards.
