Were all Atlas canning jars made by Hazel-Atlas Co. or did the term atlas come to be used in a generic sense?

Here in Oklahoma the generic term is "Mason" jar-- but there are many canning jar makers-- oops, there WERE many canning jar makers out there-- another is Kerr. I have seen Atlas and I think it was at a grandmothers-- Ohio or Georgia I'm a mason-dixon Okie.
