Paris. At least Britney served some purpose at one time. She did get famous for actually doing something, rather than just being rich.

This is simple: Paris Hilton.
At least Brittney works/worked for a living. I am no fan of either girl, but even if you think Brittney is trailer-trash, she at least put in her dues touring, learning to dance and perform, etc. She probably made more money than God, but that's what performers do. No, she isn't working a farm just to scrape by, but I've heard that touring around isn't simple. She also has competed in gymnastics since a child, and has worked in off broadway shows up until her spot on Disney that ultimately brought her fame.
What did Paris Hilton do? Nothing. She inheritted a bunch of money and uses it to do drugs, party and show people how many rich boys she can bed in a month. With all these advantages she couldn't even get a high-school education at a private school (she dropped out and later got a GED). She has used her status as a "Social Butterfly" to get various modeling and acting jobs, which is nice (at least she does SOME work). However, I don't get the sense she ever worked for anything in her life.
Neither girl is a role model, but I'll take someone who worked her way up to a life of lavish irresponsibility any day over a girl who squanders a lavish life that was handed to her on a silver spoon.
