Im curious of the total population of area not just the city limits of Brisbane

Ah, but just what encompasses Brissie? It's now a little like LA, does it end in Caboolture? Does it extend right to Noosa? Does it stretch to as far the border of NSW? I think it's now one of the world's biggest satellite cities, or at least getting that way!

when i looked it up, the answer said that the brisbane area, not city, had a population of about 1.8 million people.
