If you don't see auras, how do you imagine it would appear as a person leaves his body and the body dies? Do you suppose there are noticable changes in the aura days beforehand?

Cookie, if you see a white area around people you are probably seeing the etheric body.
Aramos, so sorry to hear about your loss.

CU Steve, it sounds like you blessed the lives of many when they needed you the most. Thanks for doing that and for being who you are.

When I was involved in a new age group for a couple of years, the lady who was the leader of this group used to teach us various psychic skills, among which was the art of perceiving auras. I'll have to say, I was only very successful in seeing auras on one occasion. But I have had the opportunity to be at the bedside during many peoples' departures from this world(You see, for a period of 12 years, I was an LVN, which is a licensed vocational nurse here in California.) I developed a knack for helping the departing souls feel released from earthly tethers. I helped many a family member who would otherwise have contributed to the problem of earthbound spirits, to let their loved ones go into the light, I always had the family members say goodbye to their loved ones as if their spirits remained in the room and were waiting for the simple goodbye as a closure as well. Whether or not the new age ideas are reality was and is unimportant to me. I know this way of handling death was a healing and a blessing for those who I was able touch in this way. Thank you for the question, I always wished I could see auras more easily, there were many in our group who claimed that they COULD do so. It seems to come more naturally to people who are most in touch with their feminine aspects. Sincerely, UC Steve.

There is no such thing as an aura. I am an atheist and a skeptic of such things. I witnessed my mother die when the tubes were pulled. I saw no aura leave her body. I did have an inkling a month before that she would die soon. Her body characteristics changed - she was pale and had lost weight. She was the second person I saw dying within a month when I saw them. But, no aura was seen. Sorry, there is no such thing and I will never see my mother ever again as much as I like to do so.

No, sorry, haven't had that privilege. I can't go into detail on that kind of experience. It is rare and unusual. Don't know about changes or colors. All I know is a white aura.
