Neither, I'm going to wait for the Wii.
I am going to be ignoring price issues for the moment.
Let's look at the games. Neither system has something to interest me. Plain and simple.

The XboX 360........And Its Not That I'm Cheap But The console Is Too expensive........You Get Almost The Same Amount Of Power Out Of The Two Consoles,And Besides The XboX 360 Games At E3 2006 were Ten Times Better Than The PlayStation 3 Games At The Convention!!!!!! Not Only that But The Whole Gaming Industry Including The Japanese Are Turning There Backs On The PS3!!!!!!!.....ouch!!! ..That's A Major Red Flag If You want To Get The Sony PlayStation 3!!!

This is a stupid question. We're supposed to make a decision absent of prices? Great, well, I'll take a PS3 and a Porsche. You should try asking questions without framing the situation in such a way that it forces people to give the answer you want instead of their honest reply. So I'm going to ignore your stupid framework and answer anyway.
I'd buy an X-Box 360, 3 games, and an extra wireless controller. That'd cost the same as the PS3 and is a reasonable comparison.
Like Jeff, I'm a bit disappointed in your decision to leave the Wii off this list. I wouldn't mind buying a Wii, an extra controller, and 6 games for the price of a PS3.

If that happened with any system, I'd say no. I mean, I can only play one at a time, so what would be the purpose of getting both? Besides, if I only get one, I can play that one while I wait for the price of the other to go down. Then I can get the other and save myself some money.

PS3 but it depends Soley on there launch titles they would put out at the same time also.
But though this isnt true I think X Box rushed to put this system out and could have worked more on it.
Besides the PS3 is Backwards compatible to two PS systems

i don't know because I'm still skeptical about the blu-ray disc. i would need to learn more about it. I'm almost considering the wii from Nintendo.
