Yes, someone does. Not me, but I took my XRF (x-ray fluoresence lead-based paint testing machine) recurrent training last month from a PhD who runs a non-profit to test homes or maybe he just donates time and efforts on low-income cases. Dr James Tucker. I think this is his private firm:
