Cincinnati has an interesting culture - definitely much more diverse than many other cities in Ohio. I never necessarily felt safe in the downtown parts of the city; the suburbs felt a lot more comfortable, but it's a city trying to grow and I can see that. Kings Island has always been an awesome theme park, and with the opening of Cincinnati Mills mall near Fairfield, it adds some diversity to the shopping in the area, but Newport on the Levee has been my personal favorite gathering place.
I also know a lot of college students, even as far as Miami University, go there on weekends to find stuff to do, even more so than Dayton or Richmond, IN.
Overall a great city to visit. I think I've had my share though.

I live in Cincy. It can be a great place if you want it to be. I know so many people that cap on the city but don't even know what fun can be had. For example, a person can have fun by going downtown, attending a Reds or Bengals game, watching a play at Playhouse in the Park or the Cincinnati Shakespeare Festival, walking around the hundreds of church festivals. Some other fun spots are up by UC, the zoo, Kings Island, the Museum Center, etc. Plus we have great food - Graeters, Skyline, LaRosas, etc. Where else can you play cornhole? I think Cincy sometimes gets a bad rap, but it really is a nice city if you take the effort to experience it.

I used to work at a Bally Health Club there. I lived in Dayton though and hardly saw any of Cinciannati. That really doesn't help you, does it?

I live there too and I guess I liked it because I left and came back. The only criticism that I have is that since it's so convservative, there's not a lot to do because in "Sincinnati", we don't do that here!

I live here too. It sucks. I hate the humid summer weather, all the sports teams suck, and the crime rivals that of est L.A. The riverfront sucks, you gotta go Newport to have a decent time.
