I am wondering if there is meanness in the culture. I don’t want to cause a huge stir… but it seems like that the German culture always feels like there better than everybody. They haven't really been the most sincere after the holocaust. If it's world cup soccer or world events the German culture seems like they know it all or they are in charge. What does everybody else think?

The camps were located in Poland because thats were most of the Jewish people lived in and around there (Russia) and the Germans built them. It was cheaper to build them there then it was transferring them all back to Germany. So don't even think the Polish were involved they were destroyed by the Germans.

I don't know where you get that nonsense. The Germans have more or less bent over backwards to present a kinder, gentler face to the world. They "haven't been the most sincere"? What garbage! Have you even spoken with a single German person in your entire life? Or have you ever considered how your own country must seem to uninformed people like you in other countries?

Yes, the German people are generally quite nice, especially if you make even a small effort to speak to them in German. It is a culture famous for its music, its architecture, its philosophy, and its literature. The Germans seem to have particular fondness for children and for animals, more than in the US. You seem to have watched way too many Indiana Jones movies or something, because you just don't have a clue about German culture.
