Could anyone tell me about Karaoke contests in Toronto?

I am a huge Karaoke fan and new to town. Does anyone know where to karaoke and participate in contests in the Toronto region?

They suck cuz it's not really a band playing. It's just a music machine sorta thingy that tries to sound like a real band but it's not.
