My daughters coloring markers keep drying up and I want to try to recharge them rather than throw them away.

Dont be so cheap. Just go buy more. There is no way to recharge a dried out marker.

there is refill for sell
if it is a permanent marker, just forget it, buy a new one, after it dried up, it became hard

buy a big supplies of marker when there go on sale.

throw em out and buy her some new ones. then ask her to make sure she puts the caps back on.

Try running a little water in them. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

GO TO WALMART AND BUY SOME NEW ONES !!!! Bet you wash the dental floss so you can use it again.......
