My Uncle was in Iraq, just got back a couple months ago and says everyone wants to re-up and there is not "mass anger against the current administration" if you look around ACTUAL veteran's sites you can find pictures of bases with passionate pro-war messages that say: "we the people of the United States of America are here to kick your ***", or were "Americans, we're proud, and we're here to stay." so whats up with these Anti-War Veterans that keep showing up on My TV? and WHY do all these "angry Iraqi College students" sound like a coupla Jews from the Bronx i once met?

Is showing another soldier that supports the war really news? I don't think so... reporting on a soldier that supports the war is like reporting the sky is blue... obvious and nobody cares...

but they still do it... I have seen quite a few "soldier stories" on CNN that talk about all the "good things" that are being done in Iraq and how "we're going to win the war"... I guess all you guys are too busy watching the latest updates on the "bikini murder" on Fox news and missed it...

but all of a sudden when they show the other side and show a soldier that isn't for the war... well I guess Hannity just took a commercial break and you thought you would cruise on over to see what they were doing on CNN... that's really convenient...

but to answer your question with the horribly obvious answer... you only pay attention when it's something that doesn't support your point of view... in other words, as long as they are "pro-war," you don't really care what they are saying, but when they talk to someone who is anti-war... you notice... so, after a while, the only things that you notice are the anti-war things... so it seems bias to you... since you only pay attention part of the time...

A good question to ask. Yes, they do.The truth is, there are enemys in this country as well. The liberal News media is the one that constantly attacks Bush and does everything in its power to undermine the war effort. They hate Bush, because they hate his value system. Most of the Liberal news media is comprised of liberal progressives, Humanist, and socialist.
Consider this. ( 1 )
Rodger Nash Baldwin
This was the founder of the American civil liberties union. ( a socialist) Look this man up. Ignore the gushing praise that some heap on him. Isn't that to be expected?
Read about him in his entirety .Look at the succeeding members of this Unamerican organization.
( 2) John Dewey
Founder of the modern educational system.
A quote ( every child entering the public school system should be considered mentally ill.) Research this.
discover his sick mind set.
Look up the humanist manifestos.
This is very disturbing if you are just a average American that loves your country , and wants it to survive. Look at what they say, what they seek to achieve, ( No nationalism, That means no loyalty to country, In fact, they want this country to fall, and all of us to join together into a one world ball of warm fussy's. Some of that one world government balooney.
These people invaded the liberal news media, the universities, the public school system. Their hatred of Bush, which is why they paint whatever he does, under a negative light, is because they hate what he is.They hate what this country is, Because like useful idiots, they have been brainwashed into a secular humanist mindset. Most of the liberal news media considers Bush a cowboy. That just shows their arrogant idiocity. It also exlpains why ABC, NBC, and CBS, have digressed to where they are today. Most people are smart enough to know when they are being snowed. I mean, hey, if you want dog ****, you can scrape it up in your back yard, right?
Thankfully, most people still have common sense.

Because the media, except for Fox, is liberally biased. I was once the token Republican in an NPR affiliate. They are anti Bush, anti fight for America....That's why so many people end up being that way because they don't hear the whole story but they think it's the truth. I mean, look at Dan Rather. He's an extreme case, but the feeling is the same.

Remember this is the same media that tried to undermine the last Presidential election with forged documents (Dan Rather and Mary Mapes at CBS)and is made up of liberal retreads who missed out on the chance to undermine the Vietnam War which we were winning until the "dean of broadcasting" Walter Cronkite said he lost faith in the effort. Did Cronkite ever lose faith in the effort against Hitler? If he did, he didn't share his thoughts with anyone. Reporters are forgetting to report the news and instead want to be part of the story.

The news always puts out the worst in what they can find, they always go past the 300 guys who are fine to be there and find the one discident and give him a full page write up, they did it in Desert Storm, they are doing it today. They took reporters away from the troops because they started looking at the war in a favorable light and thought things were getting accomplished.

I trust the MSM as far as I can throw an ice berge.

Because controversy gets ratings and that's all the media is after. They don't want to report the truth unless it is in their favor. Of course they don't want to interview a soldier who is for the war because where's the controversy in that. They want the story that's going to draw attention and ratings...even if it is not the true opinion of the majority of the troops! The sad but true fact is that most of the American public is vulnerable enough to believe what they see on tv. It's pathetic!!

If you would have left out the Jew part I would have liked to hear the answer to that question. Since you put it in all they are saying is Jews huh? that's not the answer. I personally have never met a vet that hated the president or regretted going.to Iraq and I know several of them.

It is a known fact that the media is biased. At one time I wrote letters to the editor about an issue. They published scores of anti letters, but no pro letters. I wrote 60 of them. They finally printed one when the hype started dying down so they could spark some more interest.

Well, I can see you have already solidified an opinion that answers your question.

In all fairness I have a fairly solidified opinion pretty much opposite to yours.

Fine. We are both bull headed, opinionated and prejudiced. That's as good a place to start as any.

It would do us both a lot of good to just have the straight-up facts about how our troops in Iraq feel about the war. Are most of them for it or against it?

Let me know if you find out.

Respectfully yours.

Because the Leftist media want to SELL you the news. They have no interest in reporting the real truth.
