Yup! I have several ghost stories from Hawaii.
The First is during WWII most of the schools were used as hospitals for veterans. My school has many ghost stories that haunt the hallways, auditorium, classrooms, and offices. Every junior assembly, the auditorium reeks of a fleshy odor smell because this place was the mortgue where they kept the dead bodies. One day at class time, we noticed that the girls restroom upstairs was flushing & flushing but nobody was there in the green room by the auditorium. Some people say they seen hospital beds at night going down the hallway. Every game that is played at my school, people hear the typewriting lady typing, but there is no typewriter in the classroom. My friends saw the electric fan move from one side of the room to the otherside. My brother's friend saw the shutters opening and closing vigiously after going home from practice at night.
are you spooked?

The reason why some homes are built on stilts in Hawaii is because they are grave site of Hawaiian people. One time I lived in a home like this and strange things happened to my family. While my brother and sister were sleeping, they felt like someone was choking them, they were gasping for air, they thought that they were going to die, and it stopped. My brother and sister both say that it was the choking ghost of Hawaii. Some nights we would hear somebody or something walking on top of our roof. Talking to my teacher and reading books about Hawaii's Ghosts, I realized that this stuff is real and true.

If you ever visit Kauai, there is a Menehune Fish Pond where you can expiriences the little ghost that haunt the places. On a trip to Kauai, I went to this place and expirenced a ghost story. They came into our tour van and turned on all of the lights in the van and would not come off. That was spookey.

They say that people are not supposed to bring pork or eat pork before they go to the Pali Lookout. Well my brother did bring pork filled bread called manapua to this tourist attraction. A gust of wind and rain just came out of no where and he was the only one who felt it. The other tourists that were up there did not feel the wind or got wet. Now, he will never bring pork to the sacred ground of the Pali Lookout.

A few years ago my family and I went for a trip to the seaside. There was a "mirador" up on a small hill from where you could look out to the sea and have a fantastic view. There was only a very narrow path 'bending and twisting all the way )leading to that place. The climbed to the top. While my family was taking some pictures I was sitting next the path resting. It wa then thant I saw an elderly woman coming out of the path. We exchange a few greetings, talked a bit about the area, weather etc. and the she went up to the "Mirador". She told me she came everyday rain or shine just for the exercise. I admired her being so energetic. I was much younger and totally exhauste after the climb. My family call me to go ther and have I look at some ships. I went to the "mirador" and I was surprised not to see the lady there. "Where is she ?" I asked. "Who?" they answered. "The lady that just climbed up " "Nobody has come up, we have the place to ourselves" they all exclaimed. I looked around for another possible path down but it was a sheer drop to the sea.
There was only one path going down. The path we had used. Nothing else.I was puzzled! She might have return the way she came I thought. We all went down. I run faster than anyone so that I could catch up with her. I reached the parking lot at the bottom of the hill. There was obsolutely no one there. No other cars either. Only our car. It was then that i realised that she was probably a ghost! Wasn't she ?

That was 10 years ago, my family and I move to a rented house. The lights in the house will be automatic switch off.

Sometime, I just press down the button to on the light, within few seconds, you will hear a 'click' sound, then light off.

We have got the electrician to check thru the house. Everything is fine.

After staying there for 2 months, the neighbour then told us that there actually someone died in the house a few years back before we move in.

So we decided to move out 3 months later once we bought a new house.

When I was a kid I had a dog that would sleep in my bed. Every night was the same, click, click, click down the hall, I would hear him approach. There would be a pause as he prepared to jump and then the bed would shake as he landed on the end by my feet. One night I heard him coming and then then after a long pause I sat straight up in bed. He had died nearly a month before and I hadn't realized it until there was no shake of the bed! Weird. Maybe I was half asleep, but I swear to this day I heard him coming clear as day.

I'm from NC, home of the Devil's Tramping Ground and the Waco Light. Don't need stories when you have the "real" thing.
