you have the right to either mess up your child or teach your child that you improved as you moved on... you have the right to child support and half of any extra cost such as day care for you to work, medical expen. extra curicular activities till the child is an adult. not much else. unless you can prove you cant work becuase of his child you most likely wont get alimony. i would if i where you write every thing down that has happen and happens in the future ( never trust your mind when somthing this hard happens) good luck and always focus in on this child and things will always go your way even if it doesnt seems like it....

Didn't you just ask this question, but were married for 8 months? Hmm.
The answers you got last time still stand: contact a lawyer, because laws in different states and countries vary.

If he is the father of your child, he is responsible for half of the support of the child until it reaches the age of majority. If you don't have a great deal of money, go to the legal aid office in your city for further advice.

Go back to school. Get a good job. The best revenge is to be independent, self-sufficient, lookin' hot, and be happy. Trust me, you won't believe it now, but he's sparing you alot of heartache in the long run ... one day you'll look back at his and realize that he did you a favor. Face it, you don't want a little boy who leaves his family to be with his friends!

If this is his child then that would be the most complicated. If this is not his child then other than deciding whether you are separating or divorcing...then get an attorney and work out the rest.
