Do you have to take a driving test with it, too? You can tell me if it was hard and what happened when you took yours. If if makes a difference about written tests or computer tests, I live by Bismarck, North Dakota. Also, do you have to take a eye test too?

i think you have to take a written test (i'm from a different state but i looked up requirements for north dakota online). you don't have to take a driving test with it because technically you shouldn't be driving before you get your permit, so how would you be able to pass the driving test? you should have to take an eye test too.

It's a written multiple choice test. No, there's no driving component. That's reserved for your road test for your license. It wasn't very hard. Just study right of way and blood alcohol level information among other things. I went to the DMV and had to wait a little while, took the test in about fifteen minutes, and then got it graded (I passed) and then got my picture taken for my permit. Yes, they do an eye test and if you have glasses, they will probably put on there that you have to have them when driving.
