some times I think it may be insecurity. Maybe the partner does not feel they deserve to get what they want therefore instead of asking and being turned down they just don't take the chance. Maybe the partner is just not talkative and forward about thier wants, needs, and feelings.

If you mean talking about what eachother likes, well I think it might be out of embarassment - usually this is in the beginning. One thing I love to do is touch myself in front of a woman, and call her dirty, nasty names. But it isn't something that I do the first couple of times.

I think there are a number of reasons for this. but mostly I believe they are not comfortable with sexual expression with that person or they are not comfortable w/that persons form of sexual expression for them.

they probaly feel shy or they might feel by expressing there feelings the other might feel offended by their parter for example if he or she isn't doing something right thee other might take it wrong .there is people that get offended very easy .
