Several people use this computer (4) and I do not want my messaenger on foranyone to have instsnt access to my account & mail.

under the options column you should be able to make a change,smething like privacy drop down menu,read the choices,but you should be able to not connect when the computer comes on until YOU want it to ,then log in with password...what are you hiding??? lol....

To completely get rid of Yahoo Messenger and shut down your Yahoo account stuff, you have to sign out of Yahoo. If you have a Yahoo toolbar, click sign out.

frist you should click the messenger button at the top of your messenger box then click sign out button in that little box when the next box appear hit cancel then click OK that you want to sign out of yahoo messenger then click the x button on the right side of the box and you have sign out successfully. Try it OK!

dear you have to sign out of your account.. That way they would need your Password to log back into your messenger and mail box...

try not to click the "Remember Password?" radion button so that no one could ever access your account...

you should hace a icon, like a greyish sleaping smily face, you could sigh out of it OR when you sign in, you can unclick "Rember my ID and password" so nobody but you can sign in.
