I have a 1.2 gig AMD processor - been doing good with that for maybe three years partly because I have a gig of memory and a 128 Mb ATI video card. But the minimums on gaming software keep going up. I wonder if there is a relationship between software makers like EA, and AMD or Pentium?

Processors lead software - always.

Without the hardware there is no market for the software.
