Because they think you'll give a damn? I have a lot of work myself and typically HATE when people show their ink to me. Just because two people have tattoos doesn't mean they are instant best friends.
Sorry, end rant.
I guess people do it because they want to show off what they have. They don't understand that not everyone is impressed with the tattoo work others have.

I have a tatto too. I dont really care much for getting into any conversation about it, so I keep it covered up most of the time, but I know what you mean, its an ego trip for some...

uhhh, you should of considered that people would ask questions when you got them.
its not like they have a problem, your the one who is different.
people want to show them their tatoos because they are proud of theyres and they got them to show them off, they have something in comon./

maybe they jus got theirs and want a reason to show if off or compare cause they think theirs is better. either that or they really like yours and want to gain your acceptance by showing you they have one or some.
