That we all like babies
That we are all emotionally weak
That we can't read maps
That we all care for money
That we will go off like a porn star when we orgasm
That we don't like fishing or camping
That we can't handle our grog like a man

Men think women are their objects all the time!
We need to know everything - even when they have not told us!
We need sex 3-4 times a day!! Yeah right - who has the time or energy - maybe once or twice but that's it!
That we have to clean up after them - wash their clothes, do the bathrooms etc. as these are womens jobs!
That we are moody and irritable all the time and that PMS does not contribute at all - i bet if they had severe cramps, bloating and bleeding for 5-7 days once a month that they would be moody to!!
That we will be there all the time when they need us - but when we need them they are always not around or at the pub drinking with their mates!
I could go on but I think you know what I'm talking about!!

Common misconceptions are like stereotypes....there's some truth to it. However, I do think simple minded men tend to exaggerate. I guess it's easier for them to hide behind common misconceptions when they cannot quite grasp the complexity of a woman's mind and spirit.

Women were put here only to serve a men.
Women are their property, once the move in, birth of child or marriage takes place.
Women don't know anything about politics, war or world issues.
Women don't know how to save money or spend it wisely.
Women are shopaholics. Not true I can not do it all in one day.
Women can not handle their liquor. Not true because my grandmother & mother can drink any man under the table.
A woman can not make a good president. Just think she can rule a house full of bad, disobident, disrespectful kids.
Child birth don't hurt that much. Let a man be in the delivery room bet my savings he will change his mind. My fience did.

That we are hard to please and never satisfied. I think that some men would be surprised that not all of the ladies in the world want them to buy them everything and do everything for them. I think that there is just a glitch in communication between the two people when it comes down to what the man wants and what the woman wants from the relationship.

I think a common misconception is men who think woman that dye their hair and wear make-up are fake. I think this is so because they think woman are trying to cover something up. But that is not true we are trying to accentuate our beauty and brighten up our look. It's only to make ourselves feel great and gives us more confidence. I'm not speaking for everyone but it's true in some cases.

I often get from my family that I should be dating someone at the moment. Because that's what girls do, right? They can't POSSIBLY make it out there in the "real world" without a man there to make sure their shoes are tied.
I'm a 23 year old woman, single and currently loving it that way. When I want to be tied down to some guy, I'll grab me one. Until then, peace!

That "hot" girls invariably reject nice guys --- (the guys that are intelligent, motivated, have class, goals, a vocabulary beyond just 4 letter words, and who take a shower and brush their teeth every day), ---- and invariably choose, instead, to go for some rude, crude, profane, obnoxious, loser, with no motivation, goals, or future!
This just isn't true, but so many nice guys seem to think it is. I think it is just because they may have had an experience where the girl didn't want to go out with them!

I believe a common misconception is that woman "fall for anything". You would be surprised the strength of our sixth sense when you guys start-a-lyin'. We may let you get away with it...but don't confuse that with us "falling for it". :) Why do I think so? Cause a lot of men think they are slick/players. hehe
