I timed my pregnancy for a girl, and it worked for me. I tracked my cycle, learned when I ovulated, and had sex 3 days before so that the male sperm would die before the egg was released.

On second thought, because of the amount of users that actually believe you can't select the sex of you baby go for it. Its cheap enough. A $600.00 99.9% guarantee for a boy or a girl isn't a bad price compared to other fertility treatments. And the stuff I mentioned before was about the consequences in the long run. Obviously from the answers you have recieved, not a lot of people are going to be choosing the sex of their child so the world has nothing to really worry about if one person here and there adds an extra boy or an extra girl.
Good Luck!

Hmm... I'm not going to tell you the dangers of choosing baby's sex or about what happened in India, China, and other countries where one sex is worth more than the other.
Just know what if you or any of your friends choose to go in that direction, your future offspring may not be able to get a sexually compatible spouse when they grow up.
I know people choose it to "balance" families out but let nature decide. Maybe your suppose to have ___ boys and __ girls to even things out. Why tip the scale and create a generation of possible bachelors and bachelorettes single not by choice, but by the choices of their parents that lead to a lack of one sex and too much of another.
And to other users - You actually can choose the sex of the baby. They take the man's sperm, highlight the x and y chromosomes and sort the ones that will make girls from the ones that make boys. They then take the sperm, implant it in an egg and place it in the mother.
Its called sperm sorting. The average sperm sorting costs $400 to $600 today.
In other countries they also just abort the child once the sex can be determined, until parents get the sex they want.

I don't believe there is truely any real way to chose the sex of your unborn unconcieved baby. I wished and prayed for a girl and everytime I would speak about the baby growing inside me I would refer to the baby as "her" or "she" and 9 months later the day came and I now have a beautiful 7 year old little girl. But I didn't do anything but the above. Good luck.

You just cannot choose it unless you are one of the Indian mothers who have to abort female foetuses,.There are tests which can tell you whether it is a boy or girl that you are carrying inside. If you want to follow the Indian moither well it is upto you. In India in certain areas this has led to wide differnces in sex ratios and there are occasions here eligible boys have to import girls from other area for marriage.

my mother tried that. She prayed for 4 boys before she got married. The docter told her the first child was a boy(turned out t be a girl) the next one was said to be a boy(she got a girl). When she got pregnant the third time she didn't want the dissapointment so she stoped asking, and got a girl(that would be me!)the forth time around she begged god for a boy and ended up with anothe girl. now she is tireed of being pregnant and begged god for no more children and guess what?....
God finally gave her what she wanted. She hasn't been pregnant in ten years!

You cannot choose the sex of your baby, it is genetics unless you are adopting a baby already born.

As far as I know it's not possible to choose the sex of your baby, so those who claim they have or are going to are full of crap.
