A blind person is PROBABLY much less interested in the appearance of their mate, so would their complete lack of shallowness lead them to find a more suitable mate?

Very good question ..... I could see yes and no ..
Yes more then likely because of the reason you stated - however i also think you can tell a lot about whether a person is being truthful with you by looking into their eyes. And unfortunately if you are blind someone could be lying to you about their true intentions... however again ... what do I know - I tend to be a lot more cynical then I used to

People that choose their mate based on outer appearances are least likely to be happy. I wish I could find someone that was attracted to me first by my inner beauty and not my cute face, little waist and big behind. Blind people must really get to know their mate and are more likely to choose someone that best compliments their likes and personalities.

Just because someone is blind doesn't mean they can't see anything at all! Sometimes what they see is just more distorted then others. Since they are blind they probably would be focusing more on others' personality, voice etc and not solely on looks. My friend is legally blind and she still tells me that other guys are cute and good looking too and I typically agree with her...

I think so because since they can't see a persons outer apperance but they can see and read a persons inner self and they know that beauty is only skin deep because if they fall in love they don't see the outer 'beauty' but they see what they like in that person!

hmmm very interesting question. I would think so because they are relying on the personality more which is the one thing that lasts unlike looks.
