Have you talked to your doctor about that? They don't like to do c-sections unless it is absolutely necessary or if you have had one previously. You would have to talk to your doctor about whether or not they would even do it at all without just cause. If they even do, they won't do it until it's closer to the 42 week mark. You are far too soon to be thinking about that.

Do you have to have a C-section?..C-sections are done for many reasons. Small pelvis, breech presentation, placenta previa, fetal distress, long labor without dilation or baby moving down in the pelvis, Your physician will be measuring your baby and doing ultrasounds to see how the baby is positioned. If a C-section is necessary then they try to keep the baby in as close to term so that it will develop. There are many "what if's" associated with sections so if you have any concerns or questions I would ask the doctor personally.

I'm guessing this is your first!?! (I say that because your avatar looks pretty unhappy.) They usually "schedule" C-sections about four weeks prior to the "due date". Usually unless either you or the baby are in some kind of difficulty they don't do one.
When you hold him/her and smell them, and count their fingers and toes some of what you're obviously feeling now will ease off.
It really is an amazing experience. Try to learn about the incredible things that are happening and enjoy the ride. Each birth experience is unique to itself. Creating life is an amazing miracle. I hope it gets better from now on. Remember, all of this is a temporary experience.

unless there is a complication and you or the baby are at risk, they will wait until you are as close to full term as possible. So, ideally they will do it at 40 weeks. It could be as early as 38 weeks or even as late as 42 weeks - it all depends on the doctor, your health, etc. Good luck!

It doesn't have to be 9 mpnths all the time. Sometimes the baby need a little longer. 9 months is just an estimation. Don't get too worried because u don't want to get a c-section and your baby's not finished. I've seen it happen. One time the baby... well i don't want to scare u. You should wait.

I had to have c-sections with all 3 of my boys because my blood pressure got really high while I was carrying them... they always told me to try to make it to 36 weeks if I could...so I was put on bed rest... but 2 of them were 6 weeks early.. and they did fine..

So, I am not really sure, but I hope this gives you an idea... Good luck with your baby!!

They will not schedule any before the 38th week.
Your baby needs to have the sucking reflex and that is USUALLY around the last of week 36.

I Think about 34-36....at least a couple of weeks before the due date to avoid any chance you could go into labor before that. Have fun picking your baby's birthday!
