I have never had a new machine to read the manual so just use the basic whites and colours settings and the normal dryer settings. Thanks

Hot--for really dirty clothes or if you have a member of your household that has an illness, like Hepatitis C. Cold for less dirty, usually darks. Drying time varies according to the garment. Polar fleece maybe 10 minutes. Towels 55-60 if full load. Also be aware that new washers only use hot for the first part of the cycle, then they usually switch to cold for the rinse cycle. Then there is also the delicate, regular, etc. I generally wash most of my cloths on hot, regular.

ok hot for whites, Warm for light colors and cold for darks and especialy reds. Use a regular cotton settong. For the dryer you should have a set amount of mintues you can choose. Try 40 min if not dry turn back on.
