Not if you point the gun away from you.

Perhaps you are thinking of the fact that if you took a step away from the exact North Pole, and then faced west, you could then take about six steps always going west and you would return to where you were. Would a bullet fired west go around the world and hit you in the back? No, it wouldn't. The bullet might start going west, and it would go in a straight line, but that straight line would change from due west to south west and finally almost due south. Curious, isn't it? Straight lines mapped on the surface of a sphere no longer look like straight lines. But when you walk west you can adjust your path so it actually makes a circle.

No, for the same reason that you will not get dizzy if you are standing dead on the North Pole. Since it's been way too long since I was in school for me to bother trying to explain, I will simply suggest that you take a few courses in linear algebra and basic Newtonian physics. 8 )

Depends on where you point the gun ... what does north pole have to do with it?

Better question: If you fired a bullet at the moon's equator--due east--at exactly the orbital velocity of the moon, would it kill you if didn't move?
