Seems that your some legimate application has been damage. Actually, You probably won't notice a need to fix any registry problems if your system is new, but over time, your system's registry will become larger and larger, especially as software, drivers, and hardware components are added and removed from your computer. With so many additions and deletions, your Windows registry can become corrupted or filled with errors and empty destinations, and the need for you to fix registry problems would be paramount before they start to get worse.
Therefore, If you don't fix registry problems when they arise, you may find yourself faced with unpredictable system infected, or even degradation in System speed. Fixing registry issues and preventing system should be a primary concern when you use your PC.
You should use any reputed Registry fixer software such as, RegistryFix.
RegistryFix software not only cleans your computer, it organizes and streamlines your computer registry, unclogging the gunk that life online leaves behind. Without regular system maintenance tune ups, it's very likely your computer will infected, and can lost your costly data.

★★ SECURITY SOFTWARE & TIPS ★★
◙ The very best virus scanners are free. Mcafee & Norton Antivirus are mostly hype and won't do as good as the free ones. -- About.com & Smart Computing Magazine
◙ Download and install AVG. Use it first and see if it finds any viruses or trojans.
◙ After running AVG go here and run this virus scanner online. There is no need to install it on your computer.

◙ Microsoft's New Live Safety Center. Download this scanner to check and remove spyware, viruses, get rid of obsolete files and junk off your computer, and improve your PCs performance.
◙ The Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool checks computers running Windows XP, Windows 2000, and Windows Server 2003 for infections by specific, prevalent malicious software?including Blaster, Sasser, and Mydoom?and helps remove any infection found. When the detection and removal process is complete, the tool displays a report describing the outcome, including which, if any, malicious software was detected and removed. You can run this tool online FREE.

◙ Before downloading any software from the internet type it into http://groups.google.com/ to see if that title is known for spyware or viruses. Google Groups has over 1 billion posts spanning 25 years to help you. Even after checking it there ALWAYS scan it before opening it. You just can't be too careful. -- Smart Computing Magazine
◙ A lot of the download sites like http://www.download.com/ and http://www.tucows.com/ scan software before releasing it to the public. But just for safety sake you should still scan it yourself.
◙ If you have a broadband modem or network router the firewall in these is not as effective as a software firewall. The firewall that comes with Windows XP isn't very good either. Download ZoneAlarm and your system will be a lot safer. -- Smart Computing Magazine

attempt eliminating something you do not use! that is like a cabinet that receives complete. You stuff issues interior it, then get aggravated even as issues fall on your head as you open the door. earlier you defrag, make positive you delete cookies, heritage, temp information, recycle bin and something you do not use. Then run ad-conscious (remembering to quarantine and then empty it). finally, run an complete equipment experiment along with your virus protection equipment. also, you've too many "anti " platforms!!! each and each and every takes up area and competes with the others!!!! I in simple terms use one as a lot as date anti virus equipment and one "undercover agent/Adaware" equipment. Its as a lot as you which ones one you choose. Take out music/video clips/pictures you not in any respect use, get rid of video games you do not use many times, even if it skill downloading the disc once you do want it and eliminating it afterwards. get rid of any domicile windows classes you do not favor both. They take in area you should use for significant stuff. keep in mind the ok.I.S.S. equipment - save It undemanding, stupid!!! Chuck out what you do not favor and your "cupboard" isn't so complete of junk.

You have too many TSR's. Go to Start Menu, "Run", type MSCONFIG, and hit ENTER.
Configure your startup menu. the far right tab, I think depending on your version of windows.
Get rid of all the starttup items, you don't need any of them, Unless you are running a peripheral that requires one. In which case you can disable until you need it.

If its old then it is crap.
If its new... get a good antivirus software, reconfig your firewall, and check your HD. Oh yeah backup your HD when you have time. Try backup MyPC or some program like that. Finally you can raid your HD with another one.
