both italy and germany have 3 world cup wins...theyre both good teams and it could have gone either way.
italy has a great defensive game and an incredible goalie. their captain even plays defense!!! germany just didnt play well enough to get past that.
get over it people!!! they didnt cheat!!!

yeah oh my gosh i agree with u. I HATE GERMANY! They suck. THEY CHEATED WHEN THEY PLAYED AGAINST MY FAVORITE TEAM-ARGENTINA. im in argentina right now. i can't believe what they did . im glad they lost against italy. after argentina, i root for italy.

Yes. I think their tie with the United States and win over Australia was...questionable...in fact, even against Ukraine, although they own 3-0 Ukraine had some very, very good chances, it almost could have been 3-3...However, it wasnt, Italy won 3-0, and in the Germany game, things could have just as easily gone Germany's way, but they didnt, and italy won 2-0. Personally, I really dont like the Italian style of soccer, and also, mind you, Italy does tend to cheat sometimes, but they didnt against Ukraine or Germany. After seeing France get that penalty kick for no reason, I might just have to root for Italy...It's a tough call...

I agree with you. Being an Italian I feel that it is horible how the German media has spun this. First they put up all these anti-italian websites using Italian negative stereotypes.
Then they try to pump up there team by ticking off the Italian players hoping they would say something to fire up the German team. It didn't work...Italy agreed and helped over build germanys confidence.
Now that Germany loss there is this huge theory that the Italians rigged the game.
Germany lost fair and square. It isn't Italy's fault that there player took swings at Argentina. Argentina should of beat Germany and they got messed over.
Either way German should be out and the German media along with some of the people need to stop thinking they are better than everybody else.
FORZA ITALIA! GO ITALY!

I saw the match live and I considered it the best Italy played during this world cup. They really deserved to win and did win fairly. Germany should go back to the drawing board and put their soccer house in order so as not to lose to Portugal for third place.

If it is true that people are complaining and claiming some cheating then they relly need to grow and learn what sportmanship is all about. This game could have hardly been fairer in any sense of the term, some small faults even went Germany way, anyway Itay won and is on for another title and Germany did not, people should just learn to be fair play. I think Germany will beat Italy but I agree that France will crush Portugal. Portugal so did not deserve to get into the last 4. Bye bye Portugal p.s. Frank Lampard is hot!

actually they both have to "World Cups" and yea italy won by suprise but that doesnt make a difference, cmon where didn't they not play fair??? and germany has the home field advantage and the ref cheats for germany and italy won, just face it!!!!!even if one didnt count which they did italy won!!!

yes it's true germany didnt play like I thought they r going to play.. ppl need to accept that ITALY won becoz they simply played sooo much better than germany..
be4 that game i was so like saying yea yea germany will win beoz they played very good in the world cup but against italy they were not good enough to win.

I was supporting Germany, but there's no denying that Italy are a brilliant team, and I hope they win the Cup.

I agree with you everyone is jealous of italy and has always been! they always wish the worst upon them and go for the other teams!!!
People should shut there mouths and look at them teach the rest of the world how to play world class football!!!
