I go for the unheard of talent.
Right now I'm listening to Týr.
Wht baffles me is how the semi-skilled bands get so much more popular than the incredibly tallented ones.

I absolute hate bands that are over played and I know that sometimes it is not their fault that the radio plays them every 30 minutes but I would much rather listen to a band that not many people have not heard of so that maybe I can introduce them to others.

Mexican now defunct band called Contras (not related with any Reagan thing). Best pop rock band from Guadalajara, best guitar player I've ever personally met.

go there! Look at there unsigned top list, there signed toplist.
usually when they are unsigned, they aren't very known.
