So most countries where their national flag colors on their uniform, so who can answer me why the home jersey of Italy is blue?

The "azzurro" (blue) color came from the Italian's short-lived monarchy. The House of Savoia, as the Royal Family was known, used AZZURRO as their official color, and that's how it came to be. BTW, the blue jerseys were first worn in 1911. January 6, 1911 to be exact, as Italy played Hungary in front of the royal family, and thus the AZZURRI were born.
Before that they were white.

Azzurri! Well the Italians have always chosen blue as there color. They have had it ever since the beginning and will have it forever. So they are called azzurri squadra. Meaning blue team! Since I am Italian I love the uniform they have this year. Hopefully they will take it! I like how this sounds...

The true is that Blue was the color of the flag of an empire that was there in italy centuries ago.... just like the orange represents netheralnd because it is the color of the royalty's line ( orange house or something like that)

Italy - Blue Shirts
Spain - Blue Shorts
Holland - Orange Shirts
Japan - Blue Shirts
Brazil - Yellow Shirts

Their conventional uniform (equipment) contains a blue shirt (jersey), white shorts, and blue socks. Their secoundary uniform contains a white shirt (jersey), blue shorts, and white socks. you will discover photos on google photos. i've got faith they could have a green one as properly, however hardly used.

because italy's coat of arms has a blue background and they took it from there. same reason why the Netherlands' jersey is orange bcause their coat of arms has something orange in it lol
