I am able to lucid dream because this is my triger. I have always been blind in my dreams. I am just curious why exactly it is.

I don't see my dreams as a movie or as one person in them. I can look from another person in the dream or as a third person not in the dream. Sometimes I feel like I can't keep my eyes open and I can only glimps parts of the dream. Or I feel my way about. I always know what is going on.

I also hear in the dreams. I am all of the characters in my dreams and I can recognise that I am dreaming and control the dream from there.

Are you really blind or struggling to see in your dream? 'Cause I've had dreams where I can't see 'cause I'm trying so hard to open my eyes for real and since I'm asleep it's a tad hard to do without waking up...

My thought is perhaps this is not a vision problem or concern--but may indeed be about your other senses--for instance--do you feel you hear people better in your dreams--you hear things that are going on around you--better than normal? This maybe a way that 'self' is trying to tell you to focus on other senses for direction and clarity in your life--Next time, try to remember what sense or senses guided you--in your dream--and see if you might improve on one or all --then hopefully those dreams will stop.

Let me analyze your dream.

Normally we dream, we don't notice our eyes open. In you case, you are feeling blind when you dream, and yet you can hear things.

Eyes/vision are one of the senses we have. You are losing one and yet you focus your hearing. That could mean that in life, you want to try something new in life.

The more detail in your dream you give will be more helpful to understand fully about your dream,

Maybe you just don't want to see reality. In your dreams, it takes the things that you have encountered during your days, and puts them all in one series of events in your dreams. Sometimes it makes sense, sometimes not. Maybe you are afraid of what you see in your day. Perhaps, you just turn a "blind eye" away from what is really going on in life. Escaping from something? Hiding something from someone?

although i can't tell you why that is, here's my theory because that is exactly the way i dream. i think it has something to do with what are your true experiences. i'm usually blind, or like you said always have trouble seeing clearly and can't quite manage to focus my eyes, but when i dream as more of a memory, something i've experienced or remember, i can see everything more clearly.

i often dream in third person as well as far as being blind you mean not being able to see the dream through your own eyes. right? you can put yourself where you want to be if you are able to lucid dream. Try it.

As I'm a believer in dream interpretation (Sigmund Freud) I'm with 'afriendofafriend'. You likely have something in your life that your not happy with that you don't see. Very interpretave.....good for you.

I've never heard of anyone being blind in their dreams??? The first answer is funny....walking into poles.....ha!

So you never see anything? Or do you see yourself in 3rd person as blind? If this is the case, all that means is that ur gonna be ok. Nothing to worry about.

I've had that experience once or twice. What baffles me is that though I was blind in me dreams I was still able to see.
