press the numlock button

click the Numeral lock key..that will unlock the number pad

try checking your cables for your keyboard then try num lock if this does not solve it then restart puter and check lights to see if num lock is pressed or not if all else fails replace keyboard

wal-mart has cheap ones and if they don't work either then you take keyboard back and get your money
