i used system recovery the other day n everything was gone, which i kne would happen, but the space it took up was also not available anymore. I was woundering if it is possible 2 recover the disk space even without recovering my old documents?

Well how much disk space did you lose? Maybe you could turn down the amount of disk space system recovery uses in the control panel system icon. It's like ragu, it's in there.

ummm , i would try running a defra on you your hard drive just click start->programs->acesories->system tools->disk defragmentation

if that dosnt work try disk clean up its in the same file as the defrag its just called "disk cleanup"
