my cat's name is cola. i got her from a lady that i worked with a few years ago, when she was a kitten. the lady had named her 'coal', but it didn't sound girly enough for me. the story behind her name: when cola's mom was giving birth to her, she had run away from the security of the house to give birth in a barn out back. the lady that i got her from found the mommy cat sitting on the steps to the barn a couple of days after she had run away, meowing. so, the lady opened the barn door and found some really gross stuff. the mommy cat had gotten inside the barn through a hole in the floor. apparently, so did another animal. (nobody really knows what kind) she had given birth to her litter on the floor, where this lady found many kitten bodies, partially eaten. (i'm sorry) anyway, the mommy had grabbed 2 of the kittens and put them inside a charcoal bag that was on a shelf. i guess to save their lives. one was my black cat, who she named 'coal', and the other was a slightly orange cat, who she named 'bbq', because of the charcoal bag that saved them! so, that's how she got coal, and i just changed it to suit her a little more.

I have a border collie retriever mix named Goliath, a beagle mix named Lilly, and a great Pyrenees named Phoenix. They are all shelter dogs and named when I got them, but find their names fitting. I have a rabbit, Constantine, an iguana named Dinosaur, a turtle named Squishy (compliments of my 4 year old daughter), and two gold fish Orange Fish and Disco Stu.

Ares, male german shephard pup (all bark and no bite, but the bark is awesomely loud)
Loki, Male Ferret (Thief, trickster, and extreme administrator of wet willies)
Puey, female cat deceased (she had nasty gas, thus the name stuck)
Neumar, male cat (name that stuck with him from a book i was reading when I recieved him)
Andre, Male Flemish Giant Rabbit (Big Sweetie)
Whodini, Female Flemish Giant Rabbit (Can get out of any pen when she wants to, also the grumpiest animal I own)
Cadbury, Female Rex Rabbit (Looks like one of those caramel bunnies that get eaten so fast at Easter time)
Gnasty, Male Rex Rabbit (Likes to go #1 and #2 in food bowl, so he gets fed with two bowls. Some people call him potty trained.)
Tyson, Male Flop Eared Rabbit (Likes to bite ears after he butters you up.)
