others have been having the smae problem lately. it's working perfectly for me. try turning your computer off and back on to reset all of your computers default settings. if this doesn't help do this
click on TOOLS > INTERNT OPTIONS and clear cookies and history

When mom starts her yahoo messenger and clicks on the mail envelope, she should be able to choose the option to sign in automatically. If she does this, and her mailbox does not open, try waiting a few hours, something may be wrong with the system at the present time.

Please define: "Can't get to her Yahoo mail" Is it a password problem? Are there any error popups?
Do you mean Yahoo won't go to the mail sign on page?
