Depends on the pets - I have dogs, cats and rabbits. The cats and rabbits have dry food out all day, and then twice a day the dogs get fed, cats get wet food and rabbits get hay.

As for petting them, it's usually whenever they want it. If my pets want attention they will come right up and demand it! I will say though that I think I spend more time petting at least one of them than I do not petting them.

She gets fed once a day and petted constantly. If you buy a pet and don't feed it or pay it any attention, that's cruel and abusive!

My boys (dogs) get one main meal a day (they are adults now) and they get doggie biscuits 2-3 times a day. They get petted about 100 times a day and they get lots of hugs and kisses too.

i have a cat, i feed him once in the morning and i give him treats whenever he seems really hungry. I pet him whenever he comes around, hes pretty independent.
