A Toyota Corolla('72 I think) that I borrowed from a friend. No accelleration or torque whatsoever. You had to floor it to get it to move. I even attempted to tune it up for him, but could never get the timing to stay. The internals on the engine were shot. How he got around in it on a daily basis is beyond me.

Renault Alliance- hands down the worst. At least the Yugo was based on the Fiat 131 and wasn't entirely useless. The Pontiac Fiero with the 5-speed ranks right up there as well. It handled OK but you could never figure out if you were in the right gear or not- you needed Rand McNally to find reverse!

I bought a 1974 Galaxy 5oo. While I was driving it home from the guy I bought it from, I drove around a corner and the brakes went out. I ended up in a guys front yard (he wasn't very impressed) and had to have it towed by a company that charged a lot of money.
It ended up that all four brakes were garbage and had to be replaced. The cost was going to be more than what I paid for the entire car so I pulled the engine out and put it in another car.

A 1997 Buick Park Ave "Ultra" the ultra meaning supercharged, for some reason the buick engineers thought it was a great idea to stuff almost 300hp in a midsized matress soft, front wheel drive car.To top it all off, the interior reaked of cheap vinyls and seats that were sooo soft yet so awakward you slid out of them at every red light. Not to mention every curve, and every take off.

My 86 Dodge Omni was pretty bad. My husband used to work at a Midas and had to test drive a Yugo one day. He has never owned a bad car being a car guy, but said this was the worst car he has ever driven. It was embarassing to drive. I rode in one & I agree.

It was probably the early 80's chevy malibu that my neighbor had. The back windows didn't even roll down, and it was a 4-door! It was an ugly brown, and it smoked a lot. We tried to give it a tune-up, but it was pretty much hopeless. He sold it for $150 somehow.

1989 Pontiac Sunbird was a crapper, it handled so poorly. But the one that takes the cake was the 1997 Saturn SL2, it also handled poorly and don't make the mistake of turning on the ac, then it would take you from 0-60 in 30 minutes.

It was the best of cars....it was the worst of cars! my old 1974 mustard yellow MG Midget with white hardtop and black convertable top! That thing could travel up a steep mountain in the middle of winter with a foot of snow on the ground, but when it rained, it wouldn't start for days till the wires dried out....old yella...I miss her...

'64 Rambler. Many, many turns of the steering wheel to turn the car. Zero acceleration. Rode like a stone. An all-around nightmare.

Porsche 924 (meaning four cylinder, front engine)
This car looked so cool until you tried to get on the Interstate. It could not get out of it's own way. Too much promised, with too little delivered.
