It's so difficult to pick a favorite piece -- hmm....
Chopin -- Ballade #4 in F minor, op. 52
Debussy -- The Sunken Cathedral
Liszt -- Piano Sonata in B minor
Have you also tried listening to Scriabin or Rachmaninov?

Chopin - Marche Requieme (sp?)
I own a ton of stuff by Chopin as well as Liszt, but I don't know the names of the pieces by Lizst unfortunately. I've always been a big fan of Chopin though, it's very emotional classical.
